Job summary

Mercury Insurance Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Vendor Management Specialist to oversee a portion of the Property Claims vendor network, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and contract maintenance. The role supports adjusters and leadership to ensure timely, cost-effective, high-quality services for policyholders during property claims.

The candidate will develop scorecards, monitor KPI/SLA, and collaborate with technology teams to enhance data-driven tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to obtain state-specific property claims licensing as required.
• Complete formal property claims training program (in person/virtual).
• 5+ years of Property Claims leadership, quality assurance, and/or vendor management experience.
• Experience in property claims, customer service, construction, restoration, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Own the development, onboarding, maintenance and oversight of assigned Vendor Partners in the Property Claims network.
• Develop and provide performance scorecards and KPI/SLA thresholds; report insights to leadership.
• Lead market research and vet potential new vendors and products for cost/quality improvements.
• Assist in vendor risk management, incident handling and contract-related recommendations.
• Perform on-site and remote inspections; travel to customer homes or vendor locations as needed.
• Lead vendor meetings and strategic reviews with scorecards and trend analysis.
• Drive special projects and pilots from concept to post-implementation review.
