Job summary

Alliance Fleet is seeking a Technician II to join our production team for vehicle upfitting. You will install, modify, and test equipment on commercial vehicles to meet customer specifications and industry standards, performing precise electrical, mechanical, and structural upfits on-site.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in vehicle upfitting or related field.
• Advanced 12V electrical skills.
• 5+ years welding and fabricating experience.
• 1-2 years’ experience with hydraulics.
• Familiar with gasoline, diesel, and light/medium trucks.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Ability to lead work activities in the absence of a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle upfits including electrical, mechanical, and structural modifications.
• Follow work orders, blueprints, and specifications to complete tasks.
• Operate tools safely and efficiently to ensure quality.
• Identify and resolve installation issues; conduct functional tests.
