Job summary

Vay is seeking a Senior Vehicle Test Operator to join our Berlin team and help test the technology behind our remotely driven vehicles on real streets and test tracks. You will execute vehicle-level tests, diagnose issues, and work closely with engineers to ensure robustness of software and hardware before releases.

In this hands-on role, you will test both manual and remote operation, rolling out test cases, collecting data, and documenting results with precision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in vehicle testing or related field.
• EU driving licence with at least 5 years driving experience and clean record.
• Strong attention to detail in testing, bug reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute vehicle-level tests across software, hardware and driving systems.
• Troubleshoot issues using automotive diagnostic tools and diagnostic data.
• Collect and analyze test data and report findings to engineers.
• Work with engineering teams to identify and resolve issues before releases.
• Support both manual and remote vehicle testing.
