Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of automotive engineering design, development or testing.
• Strong understanding of powertrain and chassis principles.

Responsibilities

• Support test procedure planning and vehicle configuration for testing.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure proper instrumentation and readiness.
• Monitor tests daily and communicate issues to the team.
• Maintain high quality records of issues and resolutions.
• Assist in diagnostic and root-cause analysis by driving vehicles.
• Provide repair directions to technicians with engineering procedures.
• Support new test equipment and methods.
• Identify needs for test hardware or software upgrades.
• Maintain data analysis macros and programs.
• Compile test data, perform analysis, and report conclusions.
