Qualifications

• BS in engineering (mechanical, electrical or related) required.
• Registered PE license preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in installation and commissioning of passenger ropeway systems (gondolas, rope hauled transit, chairs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor on-site installation, alignment, and verification of ropeway equipment per contract requirements.
• Witness and validate system testing/commissioning, including speed, acceleration, deceleration, and emergency validation.
• Observe rope installation operations: pulling, splicing, tensioning, and alignment of wire ropes.
