Job summary

Leitner-Poma Of America seeks an Electrical Installation Technician III to install and commission electrical systems for ropeway projects across North America. The role involves hands-on work with EMT bending, cable pulling, and conductor termination from control wires to motor leads, within a team that values safety, precision, and innovation.

Senior technicians lead in developing new processes, mentor teammates, and ensure project excellence.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician Certification is required.
• 3–5 years electrical construction and installation experience, including AC/DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB).
• Bachelor's degree in electronics, electrical engineering, mathematics, or related field.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and at elevations above 10,000 feet.
• Authorized to work in the United States; ability to obtain work authorization in Canada.
• Proficient in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems across North America for ropeway projects.
• Perform EMT bending, cable pulling, and conductor termination.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians; help develop processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure safety and precision on site.
