Ford Motor Company in Palo Alto seeks a Senior Vehicle Integration Engineer for a hybrid role. You will collaborate with engineering, design and manufacturing to develop integrated vehicle systems and prototypes.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Automotive Eng and 4 years of related experience, plus CAD in Dassault 3DExperience or Catia V5, and releasing parts in Enovia V5. Domestic travel up to 20% and proficiency with Confluence/Jira are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
4 years of automotive-related experience.
3D/2D CAD design using Dassault 3DExperience or Catia V5.
Releasing components in Dassault 3DExperience or Enovia V5.
Experience documenting architecture studies in Confluence/Jira.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing to develop integrated vehicle systems and solutions.
Develop and prototype concepts to improve cost, mass, efficiency, manufacturability, serviceability, and user experience.
Drive cross-functional product architecture trades between subsystems to determine product direction.
Identify and resolve geometrical incompatibilities using first principles and 3D concepts.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, technicians, and suppliers to procure and build physical properties.
Domestic travel up to 20%.
