Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Senior Staff Product Manager to lead the Vehicle Product Management team in Mountain View, CA. You will drive the vision, roadmap, and requirements for our hardware portfolio, guiding engineering teams to deliver scalable, customer‑focused vehicle systems.

You will collaborate with UX, design, regulatory and safety teams, manage lifecycle from concept through field support, and build strong relationships with hardware partners. Hybrid office model is in place.

Qualifications

5+ years of product management experience or 8+ years of relevant experience.
Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
Experience in leading product development of complex systems, especially hardware and/or production vehicles.
Experience with volume hardware manufacturing or automotive‑grade hardware development.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of product managers by goal-setting and coordinating work across Aurora’s vehicle and hardware portfolio.
Map technical capabilities to product or customer value to inform hardware development.
Coordinate with UX and Industrial Design to deliver physical user touchpoints.
Review operating domain criteria to identify hardware requirements.
Develop vehicle platform integration requirements and tradeoff decisions.
