Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Sr. Manager, Vehicle EOL Integration & Test Engineering to lead the organization responsible for integrating vehicle functionality, factory systems, and comprehensive test capabilities into a robust production environment.

This leader will bridge vehicle engineering, manufacturing engineering, controls, quality, operations, and service teams to ensure every vehicle is functionally validated and ready to ship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in automotive, aerospace, industrial automation or similar production environment.
• 5+ years leading technical teams including managers and senior engineers.
• Experience with vehicle systems validation, diagnostics, end-of-line testing, or comprehensive manufacturing test systems.
• Experience launching or scaling production systems in high-volume manufacturing.
• Understanding of test strategy, requirements management, configuration control, defect triage, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of managers and engineers for factory functional test integration and production readiness.
• Own strategy and execution of functional testing across build, commissioning, end-of-line, rework, and audits.
• Establish factory test standards spanning configuration, validation, diagnostics, sequencing, traceability, and data capture.
• Partner with Vehicle Engineering and Software teams to translate design intent into manufacturable processes.
• Drive launch readiness for new vehicle programs, software updates, plant changes, and process upgrades.
