Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Senior Engineer - Vehicle Dynamics Simulation in Newark, CA to lead the development of ride, handling, steering, and braking attributes from concept to production.

You will create, maintain, and apply vehicle and system-level models to optimize dynamic performance and ensure a world-class driving experience, collaborating across多 disciplines throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automotive industry with vehicle dynamics principles.
• 3+ years proven experience in ADAMS/CarRealTime/CarMaker/CarSim or similar multibody tools.
• Strong understanding of Matlab/Simulink fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and utilize vehicle and subsystem simulation models to support vehicle design and development.
• Analyze simulation results to provide data and guidance for tuning vehicle dynamics and durability.
• Correlate simulation models with real-world test data to validate model accuracy.
• Conduct subjective evaluation of vehicle dynamics performance using a driving simulator.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development engineers, software engineers, and system owners throughout the vehicle development lifecycle.
