Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Software, or Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the vehicle dynamics or simulation space.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of full-vehicle co-simulation packages for vehicle dynamics.
• Serve as the single point of contact for vehicle dynamics co-sim users.
• Forecast needs and coordinate resources to meet timing demands.
• Identify opportunities to innovate processes and methods.
• Align software releases, calibration milestones, and hardware releases for virtual simulations.
• Develop and integrate multi-body and 1-D vehicle dynamics models for SIL/HIL.
• Create FMU-based embedded models for vehicle systems.
• Develop data interfaces for ECU communications (CAN/LIN/Ethernet).
• Verify and validate vECUs and vehicle models against architecture and year requirements.
• Develop test procedures and collaborate with suppliers on virtual models.
• Conduct closed-loop learning to improve chassis controller fidelity.
• Debug embedded software written in C/C++ and develop automation scripts in MATLAB/Python.
• Lead use of SDM and version control tools (GitHub) for model management.
• Define requirements for supplier co-sim packages and ensure quality/timeliness.
