Job summary

Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc is seeking an experienced Vehicle Collision Reconstructionist in Las Vegas, NV. The role focuses on investigating, analyzing, and reconstructing motor vehicle collisions to prepare defensible expert opinions for litigation.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate complex collision analysis, strong technical writing, and the ability to convey findings to clients, attorneys, and juries. Travel and field work are expected as part of this senior technical position.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related field.
• PE license and/or law enforcement experience.
• ACTAR certification.
• 5-10+ years in vehicle collision reconstruction.
• Strong writing and testimony experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed reconstruction of single- and multi-vehicle collisions.
• Conduct field investigations and scene documentation.
• Inspect vehicles and mechanical systems; analyze data from ECMs/EDRs/ACMs.
• Prepare reports, exhibits, and defend opinions in deposition/trial.
• Interface with clients, attorneys, and teams; manage scopes and schedules.
