Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Supervisor to oversee contractor performance for vegetation management across a multi-crew territory centered on Columbia, SC. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and contractor leadership in field operations.

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years in line clearance supervision, SC licensing and flagger certs preferred, CDL and Arborist credentials preferred, and readiness to travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in line clearance or vegetation management supervision.
• South Carolina Tree License and Flagger Certification preferred; CDL and Arborist Certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
• Experience supervising contractors and ensuring safety and compliance.
• Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and leadership to contractors; direct performance in the field.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with contracts and laws.
• Manage scheduling, costs, and resources to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain records on staff, safety, costs, and contractor performance.
• Prepare budgets and oversee storm restoration duties as needed.
