The role spans design, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment, and disposal of IT across networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Citrix engineering experience with CVAD, PVS, MCS and Citrix Cloud.
• TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Architects, designs, and provides Tier 3/4 support to resolve VDI issues.
• Guides desktop optimization for platform interoperability and liaises between VDI techs.
• Provides endpoint support and trouble resolution for virtual Desktop tasks.
• Maintains advanced knowledge of administration, engineering, and implementation of VDI tech.

Valiant Solutions is seeking a Senior VDI Engineer to join our rapidly growing, innovative team! The Senior VDI Engineer will join a program providing User-facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. The team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment, and disposal of user-facing and data center information technology (IT) services across multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.

Required Clearance

TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph.

• Experience providing engineering support for legacy and current versions of Citrix products.


• Progressive roles from Administrator to Sr. Engineer.

• Provides guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability and acts as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.


• Offers endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks on Virtual Desktop-related tasks.


• Maintains advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies.


• Operates across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.


• Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.


• Conducts trade studies and makes recommendations on solutions and "make-or-buy" decisions.

Benefit eligibility and plan details are subject to the terms of each plan and may change from time to time.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $108,000 - $154,900. This range reflects Valiant Solutions' good-faith estimate of the base salary reasonably expected for this position upon hire, at the time of posting. The range has been established based on the scope of the role, market rates, and internal equity. Where a candidate falls within the posted range will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, experience, qualifications, achievements, education, geographic location, applicable security clearance requirements, additional corporate responsibilities, and other legitimate, non-discriminatory business considerations. The posted range does not guarantee an offer at any particular salary. In addition to base salary, this position includes the benefits described above.
