Job summary

Barton Malow Company in Nashville, TN seeks a Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Sr. Engineer to advance VDC processes, mentor teams, and integrate 3D modeling across projects. The role focuses on improving quality, schedule, and constructability through technology-enabled construction.

You will support delivery of VDC services, collaborate with designers, clients, and project teams to enhance outcomes from concept to completion, and drive innovative BIM applications across complex pursuits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with directly related VDC responsibilities.
• Ability to travel throughout greater Nashville to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and provide technical support for 4D scheduling and 3D coordination; model QA/QC; integrate Navisworks/Revit workflows.
• Assist in BIM planning and AE BIM Guidelines; participate in software testing for new releases.
• Support 3D coordination with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and owners; ensure alignment with BIM standards.
• Assist in setup of 3D Coordination, 4D Scheduling, 5D Takeoff, and related VDC tools; contribute to site logistics planning.
