Job summary

Lowell General Hospital is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis at the Main Campus in Lowell. The role includes performing vascular studies to imaging standards and serving as a clinical resource for students and staff.

External candidates may qualify for a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm with no call, no weekends, and no holidays. Join a Magnet-recognized care team dedicated to quality health care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiology or related field.
• ARDMS or CCI vascular certification.
• 4 years of experience as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist.
• Basic Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform vascular ultrasound procedures per policy and radiological standards.
• Verify patient and procedure to be performed.
• Provide clear instructions to patients.
• Verify imaging protocol and scanner parameters for each patient.
• Ensure patient and staff safety for equipment used.
• Participate in ongoing education and training.
• Perform quality control on equipment and devices as required.
• Communicate with other staff to coordinate care.
• Maintain supply stock and request restock when needed.
• Keep work areas clean and compliant with standards.
• Train and educate students and/or technologists on procedures.
