Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technician to perform standard non-invasive vascular exams and to identify indications, anatomy, and physiology pertinent to each study.

Candidate must be ARDMS registry eligible, have at least one year of vascular ultrasound experience, and hold a current BLS certification. This role is based at the Bernardin Vascular Echo lab, with strong adherence to safety and patient-care standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Cardiovascular / Vascular ultrasound program or equivalent vascular ultrasound experience.
• ARDMS registry eligible required.
• One year of work experience in vascular ultrasound preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard non-invasive vascular exams.
• Apply knowledge of indications, anatomy and physiology to each exam.
• Recognize adequate vs inadequate vascular exam and document findings.
• Maintain safety and patient-care standards per MUHA policies.
