Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Senior Vascular Lab Technologist- Medical Sonographer for a full-time, day shift. The echocardiography and vascular lab performs close to 9,500 procedures annually; expects about 7 exams per day with a 4th weekend call rotation.

The role requires a degree in Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Vascular Technology and ARRT/ARDMS or RVT/RVS credentials with BLS.

Qualifications

• Degree in Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography and, or Vascular Technology required
• ARRT/ARDMS or RVT/RVS certification required or eligible
• BLS required

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic, vascular, and interventional ultrasound procedures with independent judgment under physician supervision
• Assists leadership with daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, and regulatory compliance
• Serves as technical resource for team; participates in quality control and staff development activities
• Writes preliminary interpretations where applicable
