Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Senior Vascular Lab Technologist- Medical Sonographer for a full-time, day shift role. The position involves performing diagnostic, vascular, and interventional ultrasound procedures with independent judgment, and acting as a technical resource for staff under physician supervision.

Requirements include a degree in Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Technology and ARRT/ARDMS/RVT/RVS certification with BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or higher in Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Vascular Technology.
• ARRT/ARDMS/RVT/RVS certification or equivalent as required.
• BLS certification and active clinical practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, vascular, and interventional ultrasound procedures with independent judgment.
• Provide support in quality control and improvement activities.
• Assist leadership with daily department operations and staff training.
• Provide preliminary interpretations when appropriate and coordinate with physicians.
