Job summary

The Cardiovascular Care Group, the largest vascular surgery organization in New Jersey, seeks a Senior Vascular Surgery Professional Coder. This expert will manage complex coding for both open and endovascular procedures while ensuring compliance with regulations and payer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in vascular surgery coding, possess strong analytical skills, and maintain coding accuracy in a high-volume setting. This role offers the opportunity to work in a well-regarded practice dedicated to patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of dedicated vascular surgery coding experience.
• Experience coding open vascular surgery, endovascular, and interventional procedures.
• Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and global surgery rules.

Responsibilities

• Review and accurately code complex vascular surgery operative reports.
• Obtain and manage prior authorizations for vascular surgery procedures.
• Support denial management and payer audit responses.
