Job description

The Senior Varicent SPM / ICM System Analyst will be responsible for managing the ICM Application (Varicent) within Vestis's Sales Operations Department. This includes user support, maintenance, configuration, plan analysis, design, testing, and implementation. The analyst will have decision-making authority within the software tool and will guide the business on best configuration practices based on their software-specific training and knowledge.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions :

1. Manage configuration and enhancement of the Varicent ICM Application according to Vestis's design specifications, following best practices and configuration methodologies.
2. Develop, plan, and execute testing procedures, including test plans, cases, and scripts, for approved enhancements.
3. Redesign, modify, or expand existing components to support new or improved business processes.
4. Collaborate with internal Business Partners to understand problems and develop functional and technical solutions within the application.
5. Serve as the primary expert for troubleshooting application-related issues for commission administrators, business users, and the sales team.
6. Create and modify reports and dashboards as required by Business Stakeholders.
7. Update the application for contests, spiffs, and changes in compensation plans.
8. Coordinate with IT/Data teams on data preparation and integration related to the application.
9. Adhere to IT change-management and quality assurance procedures for change promotion and migration.
10. Research, troubleshoot, and resolve errors or issues as they arise.
11. Maintain security standards and assign user security levels.
12. Provide training on using the tool as needed.
13. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

1. Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. SQL experience is preferred.
4. Advanced skills in Excel and spreadsheet software are preferred.
5. Strong presentation and projection skills.
6. Experience in troubleshooting and solution design.
7. Knowledge of incentive compensation terminology, calculations, and metrics is preferred.
8. Experience with IT change management is required.

Experience / Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
2. 2-5 years of experience with Varicent software.
3. IT Application Administration experience is preferred.
