Valcor Engineering Corporation seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to design and develop valve products. You will work independently with occasional Engineering Manager oversight to create prototypes, validate concepts, and modify existing designs for new and current product lines.

The role requires 5+ years of engineering experience, proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and familiarity with ANSYS, MATLAB, and Mathcad.

Qualifications

• Requires mechanical engineering degree and 5+ years of experience.
• Proficient in CAD and analysis tools used for design validation.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop prototype models to validate concepts.
• Collaborate with team to validate designs with minimal senior oversight.
• Report progress to Engineering Manager or Project Engineer.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, QA, production, vendors, and contractors.
• Review final designs with engineering support groups and implement modifications.
• Resolve manufacturing problems and improve product quality.
• Stay updated on relevant technological developments and assist in design improvements.
• Visit customer sites to validate design specs and address issues.
• Prepare time reports for projects.
