Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a VSET Lead to own the design, manufacture, testing and delivery of a product family within the value stream, ensuring cost and schedule targets are met.

You will coordinate with design, process engineering, supply chain and operations, managing resources in a matrix organization and driving continuous improvement. This is an on-site role in Utah with security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in engineering, operations, program management, production, safety and product lifecycle.
• Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well at all levels of the organization.
• Proficient MS Project, Excel, Power Point and Word skills.
• Experience working with a manufacturing execution system (ESI, CostPoint, Sync).
• Ability to work under limited supervision and complete projects on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities associated with a product family within the value stream.
• Deliver a product family through ownership of the value stream element from requirements to delivery.
• Staff the team across design, S&MA, process engineering, supply chain and operations.
• Manage resources in a matrix organization and drive concurrent engineering.
• Ensure total team performance aligns with program and company goals.
• Lead lean initiatives and continuous improvement across the value stream.
