Celonis is seeking a Senior Value Engineer to drive AI-enabled business transformation for Life Sciences, guiding value realization across supply chain, commercial, finance, and clinical R&D. You will orchestrate complex roadmaps with Lead/Principal VEs, combining consulting and project management to improve processes and technology ecosystems.

You will partner with executive sponsors to define CoE roadmaps, deliver ROI workshops, and ensure sustained platform adoption while shaping product

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience owning complex workstreams and customer relationships in value engineering or consulting.
• AI-fluent operator using copilots to generate outputs and automations with limited manual coding.
• Strong ability to drive customer value and craft executive narratives for ROI.
• Experience leading multi-region transformation programs and securing VP/Director sponsorship.
• Fluent English with executive presence and strategic thinking across life sciences domains.

The Team:

Value Engineering is responsible for the value and transformation journey of our largest Fortune 500 customers, working on the very frontier of what’s possible with data and AI on the Celonis Platform. Partnering closely with the Sales team, Value Engineering is responsible for ensuring that the Celonis Platform is deployed to tackle the most strategic business-critical challenges, fits into the right place in our customers’ technology stack and most importantly generates strong ROI through deep and broad deployments.

The Role:

As a Senior Value Engineer, you will spearhead AI and data-driven business transformation within the Life Sciences sector by contributing to your customer’s end-to-end value journey using the Celonis Context Model. Working alongside Lead and Principal VEs, you will combine technical execution with consulting and project management against industry domains such as supply chain, commercial, finance, and clinical R&D. As an AI-fluent operator, your core mandate is to orchestrate complex roadmaps and execute targeted transformation initiatives that improve how these businesses operate across their process and technology ecosystems.

The work you’ll do:

• Value Selling & Realization: Uncover the real issues by peeling back layers of organizational complexity. Own the outcome from first discovery through realized ROI for your process areas. Tell the value story and product-solution fit by crafting powerful executive narratives and leading business value workshops.
• Stakeholder Management: Cultivate powerful executive sponsorship up to C-suite across core business units to champion transformation programs. Co-own change management with customer leaders and design CoE roadmaps that build self-sufficiency.
• Program Management: Steer global transformations across complex workstreams. Own and implement AI-driven account planning and AI-assisted project management. Automate executive governance (QBRs, SteerCos) with minimal manual friction.
• Platform & AI Fluency: Utilize AI tools and design solutions for rapid technical outputs while partnering with Applied Value Engineers for deep-dive solution builds. Champion platform adoption.
• Scale Value & Innovation: Build a value strategy and expansion roadmap, embedding Celonis as a strategic platform to drive adoption. Provide feedback to product & engineering based on evolving customer use cases.

The qualifications you need:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience taking ownership of complex workstreams, process areas, and customer relationships in Value Engineering, Consulting, Customer Success, or Pre-Sales.
• AI & Technical & Fluency: Solid background in enterprise IT and business software (e.g., SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle). You operate as an AI-fluent operator, utilizing AI copilots to generate outputs and automations, avoiding heavy manual coding.
• Builder Mentality: Comfortable setting your own direction within an account team. Driven to live for customer value, proactively hunting and ideating for highest-impact problems to solve.
• Process Improvement & Value Realization: Proven expertise in executing process improvements for measurable business value.
• Strategic Program & Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated expertise orchestrating multi-region or business unit transformation programs. Expert at mobilizing VP/Director-level sponsorship. Flawless English communication with commanding executive presence.
