Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Senior Value Analysis and Value Engineer / Design Electrical Engineer to work in St. Petersburg, Florida. The role supports remote US sites and Guadalajara, Mexico, with responsibilities spanning design, VAVE, and manufacturing release.

You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and drive cost-effective, reliable designs. Strong CAD and ECAD skills, plus Lean Six Sigma, are valued assets in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a Manufacturing or Design role.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
• Customer Service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Convey technical solutions to engineers and business personnel.
• Lead cross-functional design and VAVE activities.
• Release products into a manufacturing production environment.
• Mentor Design Engineers, Technicians and ECAD designers.
• Provide onsite technical support for manufacturing builds.
• Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.
