Hybrid Position

This position is a hybrid role based out of the local office.

About You

You are a valuation and appraisal professional. You enjoy analyzing data, gathering market research, and following a project from start to finish. As Senior Valuation Specialist, you will be responsible for applying a proven understanding of the principles of valuation and for thevaluation of all property types within the commercial real estate industry.

Responsibilities
  • Execute valuation and appraisal assignments (financial reporting, purchase accounting, Net Asset Value, periodic reporting, tax, lending, etc.) for corporate clients, REITs (publicly traded & non-traded), pension funds, open and closed‑end funds, lenders, etc.
  • Work with other team members and independently across geographies to deliver exceptional client service and results.
  • Independently gather pertinent data through direct client interaction, including personal & telephone interviews with brokers and property managers.
  • Review industry surveys and benchmarks, economic and demographic trends.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of related work experience.
  • Active Certified General Real Estate Appraiser License.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • CRE experience/background to perform the role.
  • Team‑player mentality with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: 100% commission‑based compensation.

Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.

Employees (and their families) are provided options for employer‑subsidized medical benefits including RX, dental and vision, as well as employer‑paid basic life/AD&DD insurance and short‑term / long‑term disability. Employees can enroll in the company’s 401(k) plan, which includes an employer match. Employees will also receive 10 days of sick leave, twelve weeks for birth parents and four weeks for non‑birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents, for paid parental leave after successful completion of 90 days of employment. Individuals may be eligible for additional benefits under applicable state law.
