Tanner LLP in Salt Lake City/Lehi, UT (hybrid) or Phoenix, AZ, seeks an experienced valuation Senior Manager to lead complex engagements and develop teams. The role focuses on engagement delivery, technical quality, and client service across tax, financial reporting, and M&A contexts.

The senior leader will drive scope, staffing, budgets, and milestones, while mentoring staff and advancing thought leadership with Partners. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field.
• ASA, ABV, CFA or similar credentials required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of valuation and corporate finance experience with leadership.
• Experience with multiple valuation purposes: financial reporting, M&A, due diligence, tax, litigation.

Responsabilités

• Lead valuation engagements for tax, financial reporting, M&A, litigation, and shareholder matters.
• Manage multiple engagements from planning to delivery including scope, budgets, and timelines.
• Develop financial models using income, market, and asset-based approaches.
• Prepare and review valuation analyses and client deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Communicate status and findings with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify issues early and escalate as needed; maintain tools and standards.
• Support engagement tools, templates, and quality-control processes.
