Job summary

Dean Dorton seeks a Business Valuation Senior Consultant to lead defined workstreams within valuation engagements, develop robust valuation models, and prepare comprehensive reports for clients. This role combines technical valuation expertise with day-to-day coordination and coaching of Associates.

The candidate will serve as a primary contact for engagement portions, ensuring high-quality deliverables while collaborating with Managers and Directors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in relevant field.
• Professional designation (CPA/CVA/ASA/ABV) or actively pursuing preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in business valuation or financial consulting, including supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined workstreams within valuation engagements under direction of managers/directors.
• Develop and refine valuation models using income, market, and asset-based approaches.
• Prepare valuation reports, schedules, exhibits, and presentations for engagement leadership.
• Coordinate deliverables and manage client communications throughout engagements.
• Identify risks and escalate to engagement leadership as needed.
