Job summary

AMD is seeking a high-visibility Program Manager to lead engineering initiatives from concept through execution within the Data Center GPU organization. You will partner with engineering and business stakeholders to meet objectives across development, validation, and delivery phases.

The ideal candidate has hands-on validation experience, strong planning skills, and a track record delivering complex software and hardware programs, with excellent communication across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience working with hardware and/or software validation teams.
• Experience with test planning, execution, and readiness reviews.
• Strong requirements management and validation sign-off processes.
• Able to translate discussions into clear, actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Define, plan, and drive projects and program plans based on guidance from management and senior technical leaders.
• Scope and evaluate technical feasibility by clarifying requirements with software/hardware architects and validation teams.
• Lead end-to-end program execution across hardware, firmware, software, and driver teams.
• Develop and manage integrated program schedules including drivers, software stacks, validation milestones and dependencies.
• Negotiate staffing plans including validation resources to support timelines.
• Establish and maintain program artifacts: plans of record, statements of work, schedules, budgets, scope, KPIs.
• Ensure resource planning excellence across development and validation teams.
• Identify risks and define mitigation strategies to reduce cost and schedule impact.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Validation, and Customer Engineering executives.
