Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation is seeking an experienced Engineer in Tempe, AZ, focusing on post-silicon validation and characterization. You will bring up silicon, validate high-speed analog/mixed-signal paths, and drive test methodologies across cross-functional teams for robust product delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in lab environments, strong SI knowledge, and proficiency with DDR5 interfaces and high-bandwidth test equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial silicon bring-up and debugging.
  • Validate high-speed Rx/Tx paths and jitter analysis, eye diagram with high-bandwidth oscilloscope, BERT and DDR5 tools.
  • Develop, execute, and automate post-silicon validation and characterization test plans for high-speed memory devices.
  • Collaborate with designers and cross-functional partners to debug and optimize performance.
  • Generate clear, consistent, well-structured reports on findings.
  • Develop methodologies to ensure reproducible and accurate results across validation efforts.
  • Support board-level debugging and signal integrity analysis.
