Job summary

Project Farma is seeking a Validation Engineer III / Lead Engineer in the Washington, DC area to advance validation work on life sciences projects. The role emphasizes technical delivery, CQV execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, with travel as required to meet client project requests.

The candidate will work as an advanced individual contributor, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting the Site Lead in delivering high-quality validation services compliant with FDA and GMP

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent work experience in capital project engineering or pharma cGMP facility start-up.
2-7 years of experience in consulting and/or engineering services.
Willingness to travel as required for client project assignments.

Responsibilities

Execute technical tasks within a project to deliver high-quality results.
Perform CQV tasks such as protocol development or equipment testing under the Site Lead.
Report technical issues and support resolution efforts.
Ensure tasks meet client specifications, regulatory requirements (FDA, GMP) and industry standards.
Author and maintain technical documents (SOPs, requirements specs, testing protocols, reports).
Mentor junior engineers and support peer team development.
