Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSenior Validation EngineerLocation: Suwanee, GA 30024 | Reporting To: Sr. Director, EngineeringIndustry: Semiconductor, integrated circuits, enterprise-class memory products | Employees: 700Also open to Principal and Senior Principal level candidatesEngineers will be on specialized teams within either Memory (DDR5), Power (PMIC), or PCIe/CXLResponsibilities:

• Engineering characterization, failure analysis - ensuring reliability, performance, & compatibility
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute validation plans
• Building validation hardware and implementing automation to ensure quality standards
• Designing and running experiments, analyzing data, and presenting findings
• Performing testing and validating early silicon against industry specifications
• Investigating and resolving issues identified during testing to identify the root cause of failures
• Measuring data transfer rates, latency, power consumption, and other parameters
• Collaborating with hardware and software teams to resolve validation/performance issues

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience, background in electrical or computer engineering
• Strong background with signal integrity and equalization
• Strong experience with one of the following for validation and debugging:
  • PCIe and CXL interfaces
  • Low-power management/components (PMIC)
  • Memory Systems (DDR2 - DDR5)
• Proficiency with Python and C++ programming for test automation, data analysis
• Experience with firmware and/or BIOS development is a plus
• Understanding of server platform architecture and industry standards
• Experience with testing and validation methodologies
• Experience with JEDEC specifications

Compensation:

• $140K - $180K + 15% Annual Bonus (Senior-Level)
• Relocation assistance in form of a sign-on bonus
