Job summary

Raytheon Vision Systems is seeking a Process Engineer to support Vacuum Dewar Fabrication in a cleanroom environment in Goleta, CA. The role focuses on high vacuum, leak checks, plating, photolithography, wirebond, and metrology, with responsibilities in process development, testing, and safety.

The candidate should have a STEM degree with extensive experience in process/chemical/manufacturing engineering and familiarity with SPC/DOE. Onsite work with DoD Secret clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in Process, Chemical and/or Manufacturing Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Use chemicals, metrology, inspection microscopes, alignment, bonding equipment and high vacuum technology in a cleanroom environment.
• Handle chemical safety data and follow safety protocols including PPE usage.
• Develop and deliver presentations to key stakeholders.
• Work with SPC and DOE/ANOVA for process improvement.
