Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in UX writing or content design.
• Available online portfolio.
• Ability to craft impactful communications across a spectrum of styles and genres.
• Impeccable attention to detail; excellent grammar and writing skills.
• Experience creating terminology and usage lists, content patterns, and UI text style guidelines.
• Strong bias for action and the ability to prioritize competing to meet deadlines.
• Proven success at creating and maintaining cross-functional working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Communicate complex concepts clearly by crafting content for a broad suite of products serving consumers and enterprise customers.
• Create product content that is clear, helpful, human, scalable, and inclusive, mindful of internationalization and language nuances.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (designers, researchers, product managers, and engineering), driving consensus across teams and advocating for solutions that balance customer needs and business goals.
• Earn trust with product managers to develop shared vision and use research and data to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
• Develop content frameworks, guidelines, product narratives, and other deliverables that explain your recommendations and help people understand UX writing and content strategy.
• Work in a start-up style environment, where iteration is encouraged, thinking long-term and strategically while still achieving quick wins and short-term objectives.
• Make sure that customers have the right information at the right time.
