Job summary

Amazon's Prime Video Experience Design (PVXD) seeks a Sr. UX Visual Designer to join its centralized visual, motion, and artwork design studio. You will shape the visual experience across living room, mobile, web, and tablet surfaces worldwide.

As a senior contributor, you will evolve the visual design vision, contribute to scalable design systems (Fable), prototype experiences, and collaborate with motion designers, engineers, PMs, and researchers to deliver high‑quality user experiences.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of design experience
• Have an available online portfolio
• Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
• Experience directly working with engineering teams
• Bachelor's degree or above in graphic design, interactive design, or equivalent
• Strong prototyping skills with the ability to create high‑fidelity interactive prototypes that communicate design intent beyond static deliverables (using tools such as ProtoPie, Principle, Figma prototyping, Rive, or equivalent)
• Experience designing for entertainment, media, or content‑rich consumer products across multiple platforms (mobile, web, TV/living room)
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including component architecture, design tokens, and library management
• Experience collaborating with motion designers - providing visual direction that informs motion behaviour and reviewing motion work for brand coherence
• Experience contributing to visual brand guidelines and translating brand identity into product‑level visual language

Responsibilities

• Visual Design Craft & Execution: Contribute to and refine the visual design language for Prime Video's product experience across platforms
• Design System Contribution: Extend the visual foundations of Prime Video's design system (Fable) with tokens, components, and guidelines
• Prototyping & Experience Visualization: Create high‑fidelity prototypes to communicate vision and validate ideas
• Complex Problem Solving: Tackle multi‑faceted design challenges with strong judgment
• Motion Design Partnership: Collaborate with motion designers for unified system
• Engineering Collaboration & Hand‑off: Ensure feasibility and fidelity of visual implementations
• Design System Adoption: Drive adoption across product areas and participate in reviews
• Mentorship & Craft Elevation: Mentor peers and raise craft standards
• Cross‑Team Influence: Inform product direction and design reviews with visuals
• Accessibility & Inclusive Design: Advocate for accessible visual design across contexts

Education
