Airo Digital Labs, LLC is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to lead a focused, 2-3 week contract for a bespoke dashboard. You will work directly with client stakeholders to translate business vision into interactive prototypes using Figma.

Senior UX/UI Designer (Short-Term Contract / Dashboard Bespoke Design)

We are looking for a high-caliber, client-facing Senior UX/UI Designer for a focused, 2-3 week contract to lead the interactive design phase of a custom dashboard project. You will work directly with our client’s core stakeholders to capture their business vision and rapidly translate it into high-fidelity, interactive prototypes.

This is a high-impact, fast-paced sprint. Success in this initial phase will position the candidate as the primary choice for a much larger, full-time follow-on phase of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Facilitation: Lead rapid, interactive design workshops with core client stakeholders to extract their business vision, dashboard requirements, and data priorities.
• Bespoke UI Design: Create custom, visually compelling dashboard interfaces tailored specifically to the client’s unique brand, avoiding generic template designs.
• Rapid High-Fidelity Prototyping: Utilize Figma to quickly build interactive, component-driven prototypes that simulate real dashboard functionality and data visualizations.
• Developer Handoff Pre-Alignment: Ensure all bespoke Figma designs are conceptually structured for seamless handoff to a frontend team building in React.js on an Azure cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a heavy emphasis on custom enterprise dashboards, analytics, or complex data visualization platforms.
• Rapid Prototyping Mastery: Expert-level speed and proficiency in Figma (must be highly skilled in variables, auto-layout, and building complex interactive components quickly).
• Design Framework Hybridity: Proven ability to create completely bespoke visual designs while strategically leveraging the structural efficiencies of frameworks like Microsoft Fluent UI to accelerate development.
• Technical Literacy: Solid understanding of React.js component logic and Azure environment constraints (e.g., handling data density and latency visually) to design realistic, buildable screens.
• Elite Soft Skills: Exceptional consulting and workshop orchestration skills, with the ability to build immediate trust, manage stakeholder opinions, and drive design consensus within a tight 2-3 week window.
• Duration: 2-3 week initial sprint (Immediate start required).
• Dual-Overlap Schedule: This role requires a hybrid communication model to support both client alignment and developer handoff. You must be available for:
• A daily 1-2-hour interactive session during the day with the US-based client stakeholders.
• 1 hours of daily touchpoints with the development team in India during regional overlap windows (typically a 30-minute sync in the morning and a 30-minute sync in the evening/night).
• The remaining production hours are entirely flexible and asynchronous.
• Scope: Focused strictly on core stakeholder alignment and vision mapping (no end-user research or testing required for this phase).
• Future Opportunity: Potential for a long-term, full-time extension for the larger development and implementation phase.
