Ladders is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to lead the UX and product design from discovery through implementation. This role partners with stakeholders to translate complex workflows into intuitive digital experiences while upholding accessibility and usability standards.

The position focuses on mentoring designers, governing design systems (USWDS preferred), and driving scalable design solutions in a remote, US-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a design field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of professional UX/UI and product design experience.
• Current human-centered design and UX certifications from recognized organizations.
• Certified ScrumMaster or equivalent Agile certification.
• Expert proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping.
• Experience creating and governing enterprise design systems, preferably using USWDS.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, including Section 508 and WCAG.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UX and product design process from discovery to implementation.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will shape intuitive digital experiences by guiding UX and product design from discovery through implementation. The Senior UX/UI Designer will partner closely with stakeholders and users to uncover needs, translate complex workflows into elegant solutions, and ensure designs support usability, accessibility, and scalability. This position will also contribute to design system governance and mentor other designers to raise the quality and consistency of the team's work.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $105,000 - $150,180 annually
