About the role

Chartis is looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer. As a Senior UX/UI Designer at Chartis, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-centered experiences for our Clients’ digital products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to ensure our products meet user needs and business goals.

We seek someone comfortable with ambiguity, passionate about conceiving experiences in the abstract, and capable of translating that vision into solid design deliverables such as workflows, wireframes, UI designs, interaction models, and prototypes. You should be detail-oriented, experienced in technical collaboration, skilled in data-driven decision-making, and confident presenting to stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

• User Research:
• Assist in conducting user research through interviews, workshops, and usability testing.
• Analyze and synthesize user feedback to inform design decisions.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and documentation to communicate findings.
• Create site maps, wireframes, and prototypes to define structure and flow.
• Organize information for easy navigation and understanding.

• Interaction Design:
• Design functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Develop interactive prototypes for testing and iteration.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure design fidelity during implementation.

• UI Design:
• Maintain and contribute to design systems for consistency and scalability.
• Create original layouts and UI components based on brand guidelines.

• Usability Testing:
• Plan and conduct usability tests to evaluate designs.
• Identify usability issues and suggest improvements.
• Iterate designs based on feedback and testing outcomes.

• Documentation:
• Create and maintain design documentation such as personas, journeys, and wireframes.
• Document design decisions to ensure transparency and consistency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX design experience
• Proficiency in User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design best practices
• Experience managing lifecycle design projects from strategy to execution
• Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Adobe, etc.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
