Job Description
As a mixed-methods User Experience (UX) Researcher, youll have the opportunity to shape the research culture on this emerging UXR team, while informing product strategy and design through all phases of product development. Your focus as a will be to investigate user needs and behaviors at both strategic and tactical levels. Through primary research as well as product analytics, market research and desk research where appropriate, you will uncover patterns, motivations, and opportunities that guide product and design decisions. Responsibilities
Identify and prioritize high impact research opportunities across the product lifecycle in collaboration with product team (UX, PM and Eng), ensuring alignment with business goals
Design and execute research studies using a variety of methods (surveys, in-depth interviews, diary studies, etc) to explore user needs and pain points
Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations to help cross-functional stakeholders make informed decisions
Communicate findings through reports, artifacts, presentations and workshops
Advocate for user-centered thinking and contribute to shaping Rings research culture.

Skills And Requirements
5+ years experience in UX research
Experience with a variety of methods and research types (usability studies, concept tests, needfinding, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to design and execute qualitative studies as well as basic surveys
Excellent communication and storytelling capabilities
Collaborative mindset. Adaptable and resourceful, thriving in a startup environment that requires rapid iteration and agile approaches, while maintaining a commitment to high-quality, rigorous research
Skilled in navigating ambiguity, bringing structure to undefined problems, and aligning research objectives with broader product and business goals. Experience conducting research for hardware products
Experience working as an embedded researcher in product teams null
