Job summary

Itential is seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead UX research and design strategy for its enterprise platform. You will partner with Product Operations leadership and senior stakeholders to shape the user experience across complex product lines, applying data‑driven insights rather than just visuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Human‑Computer Interaction, Design, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in UX design with demonstrated leadership and strategic impact.
• Genuine UX research mindset and a data‑driven approach, not a visual/UI‑first mindset.
• Portfolio showing ability to scope ambiguous, high‑complexity problems and trade‑offs.
• Strong WCAG knowledge and accessibility‑centric design experience.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and collaboration/testing analytics tools.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge preferred.
• Experience in B2B enterprise software, DevOps tooling, or network engineering is highly preferred.
• Ability to mentor researchers and influence product strategy through research insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX research and design strategy across complex, ambiguous problem spaces with senior stakeholders.
• Partner with Product Managers to shape user experience and roadmap for Itential’s platform.
• Mentor researchers and integrate user insights into strategic design decisions.
• Map user journeys across multiple product areas to inform roadmap prioritization.
• Justify design decisions using data, competitive analysis, and stakeholder input.
• Shape product strategy and roadmaps through deep understanding of users and market trends.
• Communicate UX value to senior stakeholders and facilitate cross‑functional workshops.
• Deliver UX artifacts and lead design reviews to align teams around UX strategy.
• Recruit UX talent and benchmark Itential’s UX against competitors.
