Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in applied research or similar.
  • 5 years of managing UX research teams.
  • 2 years managing managers.
  • Experience leading consumer product launches, including scaling from 0 to 1.
  • Proficiency with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including leading research teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD in relevant fields such as Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, etc.
  • 10 years of UX research experience with executive-level collaboration.
  • 8 years managing projects in large, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience guiding cross-functional teams in 0-1 spaces and integrating research into product design.

As a UX leader, you will define and drive Google’s design future, set product strategies, and inspire teams. You will help shape complex UX ecosystems, mentor team members, and collaborate across teams to create innovative experiences.

Compensation

The US salary range for this full-time position is $224,000-$315,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary specifics depend on role, location, skills, experience, and education. Details will be discussed during hiring.
