Job summary

Target is seeking a Senior Product Designer for the Loyalty UX Team in Minneapolis. You will shape the next-generation loyalty ecosystem, designing experiences that reward and personalize across digital and in-store touchpoints.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, and partners to deliver end-to-end experiences across membership, rewards, personalization, and engagement, while applying human-centered design and cross-functional experimentation.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products at scale.
  • Strong product design skills, including structuring and planning work, owning the design process, and delivering high-quality experiences from concept through execution.
  • Proficiency in prototyping tools (Figma).
  • Demonstrated strategic problem-solving, systems thinking, and collaboration skills.
  • You lean into complex problems and seek to understand the "why" behind user behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full design process, from early discovery and strategic approach to ideation, design, testing asset delivery and production with engineers.
  • Lead and contribute craft-specific work to large, complex projects with cross-team impact.
  • Leverage insights and data-driven research to identify and pursue user-centric outcomes within your product space.
  • Create design deliverables such as journey maps, wireframes, user flows, UI design and prototypes.
  • Hold design work to a high standard of craft, including accessibility, user research, information architecture, interaction design and visual design.
  • Contribute to a culture of human-centered practice within UX, product, and engineering teams.
  • Navigate complexity and ambiguity delivering impact for guests and the business.

The pay range is $98,000.00 - $176,000.00

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, and cross-functional business partners,you'lldefine and deliver end-to-end experiences spanning membership, rewards, personalization, and member engagement.You'lltranslate complex businessstrategyinto simple, intuitive experiences that deepen guest relationships and drive long-term loyalty.This role is ideal for a systems thinker who enjoys solving complex, interconnected product challenges and designing experiences that span multiple touchpoints across the guest journey.

You’lluse tried and true design methodologies such as human centered designthinkingto understand guest needs, balance business ideas, deliver best-in-class design from concept to execution, while championing cross-functional experimentation.

As a member of the team, you will contribute to advancing the broader practice of UX at Targetthroughinfluence, impact, and craft, while also educating cross-functional teams when needed. About you:

  • You'rean experienced product designer with 6+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products at scale, or equivalent experience

  • Strong product design skills, including structuring and planning work, owning the design process, and delivering high-quality experiences from concept through execution

  • Proficiencyin product design and prototyping tools (i.e., Figma)

  • Demonstrated strategic problem-solving, systems thinking, and collaboration skills

  • You lean into complex problems, challenge the status quo, andseekto understand the 'why' behind human behavior and their mindsets

  • Proven ability to effectively use data and insights to set your direction and communicate your approach

  • You value outcomes and strive toward design that is welcoming, inspiring, and clear

  • Youunderstandhow design connects to, serves, and improvesbusinessoutcomes

  • Exhibit a growth mindset

This position willoperateas a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core rolewill need to be performedboth onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually,depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
