Job summary

Aquent is seeking a Senior Product Designer (UX) to lead end-to-end design across desktop and mobile platforms, shaping intuitive digital experiences for a financial services client. You will drive discovery, create flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, and collaborate with a cross-functional Agile team to deliver high-impact solutions.

As a client-centered designer, you will articulate direction, trade-offs, and next steps, while mentoring peers and upholding design system standards.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of UX design experience focused on digital products.
• 1+ year of UX experience specifically for touch-based mobile interfaces.
• An online portfolio showcasing design thinking that leads to innovative solutions.
• Demonstrated experience with most aspects of a user-centered design process, including user research, developing user flows, creating wireframes, and building interactive prototypes for testing.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma.

Responsibilities

• Drive the full UX design lifecycle from discovery to delivery, ensuring solutions delight users and meet business needs.
• Design seamless interactions across desktop, mobile web, and native mobile platforms.
• Collaborate closely with a cross-functional Agile team to co-create innovative solutions.
• Independently lead design exploration and decision-making, defining problems and proposing impactful solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned projects, addressing challenges and proposing effective resolutions.
• Uphold high design standards, adhere to design system guidelines, and evolve patterns thoughtfully.
• Foster strong partnerships with peers and cross-functional teams through clear communication and accountability.
• Model leadership through craft, communication, and follow-through.
• Mentor or support less experienced designers to grow the team.
