Job summary

CompassX Group in Los Angeles is looking for an experienced UX consultant to lead user-centered design initiatives. You will conduct user research, create prototypes, and collaborate effectively with technical teams. The right candidate has 5-8 years of experience in UX research and design.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in UX research, interaction design, and/or design build.
• Experience in agency, consultancy, or client delivery context.
• Designing for internal enterprise tools and workflows.
• Proficiency in Figma expected, familiarity with data visualization tools a plus.
• Experience running user interviews and synthesizing findings.
• Utilizes AI tools for design acceleration.
• Local to LA or Orange County, able to be on-site at client locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead user research to uncover real problems.
• Design across journey maps, service blueprints, and prototypes.
• Build interactive prototypes and contribute to design systems.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure feasibility.
• Communicate design decisions to non-design stakeholders.
• Incorporate AI tools in design processes.
