Job summary

Cirrus Logic, Inc. is seeking a skilled UX Interaction Designer to design tools for Cirrus Logic’s engineers and external customers.

You will shape the user experience for SoundClear Studio® tooling, translating complex requirements into intuitive GUIs and enabling customers to integrate Cirrus Logic products into their devices. You will lead user research, usability testing, and needs-finding, collaborate with developers, and present design concepts to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a UX Interaction Designer contributing to commercial product development.
• Experience designing software tools for industry professionals.
• Experience gathering end-user input, usability testing, and needs‑finding research.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of complex software applications.
• Apply appropriate user-research methods to elicit user needs and tooling requirements.
• Make ideas tangible for stakeholders via design artifacts and prototypes, taking into consideration technical constraints and cross-product design patterns.
• Gather early user feedback through iterative development of design artifacts and user testing.
• Translate vague user requests into actionable solutions with positive outcomes.
• Partner closely with software developers to steward design intent through to the finish-line, creating effective design artifacts for non-designers.
• Facilitate workshops with project teams and stakeholders to explore problem spaces, identify pain points, and create alignment.
