Cribl is hiring a Senior Product Designer to shape the security product experience across detection, alerting, investigation, triage, search, and AI-assisted workflows. The role requires a genuine security background and the ability to turn complex SOC workflows into clear, trustworthy experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience designing complex B2B software or enterprise platforms for technical users.
• Security background such as security product design, security operations, threat detection, or SOC workflows.
• Understanding of security practitioners’ realities, including noisy signals and time pressure.
• Strong product thinking and interaction-design skills; simplify complex workflows without oversimplifying.
• Experience designing AI-assisted, agentic, or conversational interactions.
• Expert Figma skills with advanced prototyping and documentation.
• Proven design-system experience and ability to extend patterns thoughtfully.
• Knowledge of AI tools and AI UX interaction models; design for trust and control.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design from problem framing to handoff and implementation.
• Design workflows for detection creation/management, alert review, investigation, triage, search pivots, and enrichment.
• Apply security judgment to evidence, provenance, confidence, severity, permissions, and audits.
• Design AI-assisted and agentic experiences with clear intent, context, and approvals.
• Reuse Cribl design system; contribute components, patterns, and tokens.
• Work in Figma for exploration, prototyping, documentation, and collaboration.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and designers through ideation to high-fidelity implementation.
• Share work early through critiques and working sessions; provide constructive feedback.
• Use research and product evidence to prioritize opportunities and improve workflows.
• Communicate design rationale and tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical partners.
