Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior UX Designer for a remote contract role focused on patient acquisition experiences in healthcare. You will design responsive web interfaces, contribute to mobile/web in native apps, and conduct user research in a fast, iterative, Figma-driven environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong UX/UI expertise, a portfolio with accessibility focus, and proven cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and design teams. W2 benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Strong UX/UI experience designing responsive web applications.
• Experience designing for native iOS and Android applications preferred.
• Healthcare, medical device, or other regulated-industry experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.
• Ability to articulate design decisions and support recommendations with user research and evidence.
• Portfolio demonstrating craft, accessibility, attention to detail, edge cases, and problem solving.
• Cross-functional experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, and technical leads.
• Self-starter able to manage multiple fast-moving initiatives.
• Figma proficiency with an accessibility-minded approach.
• Ability to work remote with overlap to PST business hours. West Coast preferred but open to U.S. time zones.

Responsibilities

• Design responsive web experiences for customer acquisition, with potential contributions to mobile web and embedded web within native apps.
• Plan, conduct, and facilitate user interviews and research activities, and translate findings into actionable design decisions.
• Present design work, research insights, and rationale to product leadership on a weekly basis.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and designers to define strategy and near-term tactics.
• Champion user needs across patient, caregiver, and healthcare provider experiences, and improve colleague experiences with internal tools.
• Drive new design ideas proactively and take ownership of initiatives that impact the broader product portfolio.
• Contribute to and positively influence design culture, welcoming feedback and respectful disagreement.
• Work within a Figma-based, rapid-iteration environment to research, design, test, and iterate.
