Job summary

Senior UX Designer at Eliassen Group—remote contract role focused on driving customer acquisition experiences for a Type 2 Medicare audience. Emphasis on responsive web design with native app integrations, in a fast, iterative, Figma-driven environment.

Responsibilities include user research, presenting findings to leadership weekly, and collaborating with product managers, engineers, and designers to shape strategy and tactics in a regulated context.

Qualifications

• Strong UX/UI experience designing responsive web applications.
• Experience designing for native iOS and Android apps.
• Healthcare, medical device, or regulated-industry experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.
• Ability to articulate design decisions with user research and evidence.
• Portfolio demonstrating accessibility, attention to detail, edge cases, and problem solving.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, engineers, and technical leads.
• Self-starter able to manage multiple fast-moving initiatives.
• Figma proficiency with an accessibility-minded approach.
• Ability to work remote with overlap to PST business hours.

Responsibilities

• Design responsive web experiences for customer acquisition, with potential contributions to mobile web and embedded web within native apps.
• Plan, conduct, and facilitate user interviews and research activities, and translate findings into actionable design decisions.
• Present design work, research insights, and rationale to product leadership on a weekly basis.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and designers to define strategy and near-term tactics.
• Champion user needs across patient, caregiver, and healthcare provider experiences, and improve colleague experiences with internal tools.
• Drive new design ideas proactively and take ownership of initiatives that impact the broader product portfolio.
• Contribute to and positively influence design culture, welcoming feedback and respectful disagreement.
• Work within a Figma-based, rapid-iteration environment to research, design, test, and iterate.
