Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Sr. Experience (UI/UX) Designer to deliver user-centered design through research, architecture, and high-fidelity comps.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers in a fast-paced Agile environment to prioritize design needs and ensure accessible, usable products. The role emphasizes ownership, mentorship, and strong communication across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Design, Computer Science, HCI, or related field
• 5+ years in UX/UI/Interaction Design
• Experience with eCommerce products
• Knowledge of reusable patterns and Design Systems
• Strong portfolio of UI/UX work
• Experience designing for responsive and mobile environments
• Experience with Sketch, Figma, Zeplin, and Adobe CC
• Excellent communication with product owners, stakeholders, analytics, and front-end teams
• Knowledge of UX methodologies and ability to distill research into insights
• Creative yet practical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead teams in fast-paced, Agile environments
• Strong presentation and collaboration skills
• Customer-centric mindset and focus on outcomes

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers in Agile sprints
• Leverage user research from analytics teams to inform designs
• Conduct competitive analyses and synthesize market trends for projects
• Deliver visual and interaction design that centers on user needs
• Own design work across lifecycles and ensure clear handoffs
• Define user journeys and functional requirements from a design perspective
• Present design work to stakeholders and advise on best practices
• Coordinate with digital agencies when needed to meet quality standards and branding
• Mentor or manage other designers and support their professional growth
