Job summary

Amazon Music is seeking a Senior UX Designer to own large visual design projects end to end across surfaces, from research to delivery, ensuring a cohesive look and feel. You will collaborate with designers and cross-functional teams to elevate craft and maintain coherence.

You will help define design flows and content strategies with business leaders, engineers, and product managers, and contribute to a scalable design system, while presenting strategic rationale to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of design experience.
• Have an available online portfolio.
• 5+ years of experience in UX design for consumer facing products.
• Degree in UX Design, Animation, Fine Arts, Cognitive Psychology, HCI, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own complex visual design projects end to end, from customer research and early concept through evaluation and delivery.
• Develop high-level customer experience strategy for near and long term, navigating ambiguity and bringing clarity to design decisions.
• Partner closely with other designers across Amazon Music to elevate the craft and raise the quality bar.
• Develop and refine visual design, IA, and interaction patterns that drive coherence across surfaces and the product suite.
